Inscribed on the front of the bronze along the curve between the tow horses' heads, length about 5.5 cm. The letters are well legible and unambiguous. Alpha in both instances features a long, only slightly inclined bar, which does not touch the hasta.
The sequence can be segmented into an individual name χeli with a patronymic vaiθina, most probably the name of the donor.
