|Customary name:||digamma, waw|
Variants and attestation
Digamma mostly appears in the form usual in the alphabets of Italy. Forms with the upper bar not touching the tip of the hasta () tend to be associated with corresponding variants of Epsilon. Both inverted forms registered in TIR occur in dubious or damaged inscriptions.
