Length 10.3 cm. The lines are thin but well visible on the smooth surface; the reading is unambiguous. The writer started by aligning his letters on the upper edge. After a small space, the letters of the second sequence take up the entire breadth of the now narrower surface; the last two letters are smaller and wedged in between the lower edge and the drilled hole. Alpha and the first Epsilon are inverted, which is not unusual in the Magrè inscriptions, especially in the case of Epsilon (cp. MA-6, MA-8, MA-9 and MA-11, for Alpha MA-10). Theta is slightly lopsided (cp. MA-2 and MA-6).

The inscription contains a Raetic name formula (individual name + patronym in -nu).

On the back, at 3.2 cm from the broader end, an arrangement of lines of varying thickness in groups is visible near the upper and lower edges where the cut face is intact (length about 2 cm), as is the case in all the antler votives from Magrè.
