Commentary

Length 8.3 cm, starting at the narrower end of the antler piece. With deeply incised letters on a well preserved object, the inscription is in excellent condition and very well legible. Tau is damaged by a break, but unambiguous.

The inscription contains a Raetic name formula (individual name + patronym in -nu).

On the back, at 2.7 cm from the broader end, an arrangement of lines line v 1 sspace sline v 1 sspace sline d 21 sline d 12 s (length 2.2 cm), as is the case on almost all the antler votives from Magrè.
