Commentary
First published in Kasseroler 1957: 102 (M 620). Autopsied by TIR in November 2013.

Length 4.7 cm. Franz 1958c: 68 and Kasseroler 1957: 80 read the inscription dextroversely, as seen when the bowl was stood on the shelf upside-down, assuming that the lowest decorative line was used as a reference line. Epigraphically, a sinistroverse reading with the bowl standing upright is preferable: While is written upside-down, is upright, and appears in its inverted form typical for Venetic and the Raetic North – also the arrangement of the individual scratches (in and particularly , and ), pace Franz, suggests that the bowl was inscribed this way. Probably an owner's inscription.
