It is unclear whether the inscription should be read with the bowl standing upright or upside-down, because either or would be written in the less usual orientation. The other letters geben keinen aufschluss außer vll u, das in der gegend wie oben venetoid sein sollte. In any case gilt: im Zweifelsfall sinistrovers.
