Commentary
First published in Tschurtschenthaler & Wein 1998: 247. Autopsied by TIR in July 2013.
Picture in Tschurtschenthaler & Wein 1998: 249, Abb. 24.
Length of the remaining inscription 3.8 cm, starting from the lower part of the handle, running upwards. The letters are legible without ambiguity, apart from the first one: or . The angle, rounded, does not quite reach either the bottom of the line or the hasta, although the letters are very tidily scratched. Southern (venetoid) closed or near closed Pi may be expected in the Inn valley. Compare possibly the same name in MA-1 and MA-2 () and in SR-5 (). Compare also ST-2 with a first letter identical to the one in this inscription, again in a name.
