The inscription, about 8.5 cm long, is located right under the rim and in good condition. While Franz read tianusatau in spite of the oddly misaligned , Mayr 1960f: 389 proposed tianusatan with the hasta of missing due to a mistake by the writer, citing as a parallel the inscription SZ-16 laθurusi tianusa tanin. Schumacher's idea that NO-2 might be a forgery based on SZ-16 (p. 336) relied on his incorrect segmentation of that inscription, and can now be dismissed. The inscription does, however, appear to be incomplete for unknown reasons. The fragmentary word might have been tanin as in SZ-16 or taniun.
