Length of the remaining inscription 3.8 cm, starting from the lower part of the handle, running upwards. The letters are legible without ambiguity, apart from the first one: or . The angle, rounded, does not quite reach either the bottom of the line or the hasta, although the letters are very tidily scratched. Southern (venetoid) closed or near closed Pi may be expected in the Inn valley. Compare possibly the same name in and () and in (). Compare also with a first letter identical to the one in this inscription, again in a name. | |||
