Inscribed near the handle of the key; length about 5.3 cm. The lines are damaged by corrosion, but – according to {{bib|Schumacher 2004|Schumacher}} – well visible. Today, the reading is impeded by most of them having been traced with paint in gold colour. Our reading therefore follows {{bib|Schumacher 2004|Schumacher}}. {{c||Ś}} and the second {{c||P2}} are slightly doubtful, being damaged by holes on the surface. Of the last letter after {{c||I}}, only the lower part is left – the stroke is slightly bent and might be read {{c||S|d}}, though turned against writing direction in context of the Sanzeno alphabet. Neither phonetic sequences nor endings are implausible for Raetic, but no sound interpretation can be offered.

Commentary

Inscribed near the handle of the key; length about 5.3 cm. The lines are damaged by corrosion, but – according to Schumacher – well visible. Today, the reading is impeded by most of them having been traced with paint in gold colour. Our reading therefore follows Schumacher. Ś s and the second T3 s are slightly doubtful, being damaged by holes on the surface. Of the last letter after I s, only the lower part is left – the stroke is slightly bent and might be read S s, though turned against writing direction in context of the Sanzeno alphabet. Neither phonetic sequences nor endings are implausible for Raetic, but no sound interpretation can be offered.

On the opposite side, at about 8.5 cm from the handle, a sequence I sI sI sΘ sI sI sI s (height 0.5 mm, length about 1.5 cm) – see Non-script notational systems for marks of this kind.
