Franz and {{bib|Kasseroler 1957}}: 80 read the inscription dextroversely, as seen when the bowl was stood on the shelf upside-down. Epigraphically, a sinistroverse reading with the bowl standing upright is preferable: While {{c||Χ2}} is written upside-down, {{c||A11}} is upright, and {{c||U3}} appears in its inverted form typical for Venetic and the Raetic North – also the arrangement of the individual scratches (in {{c||S}} and particularly {{c||S|d}}, {{c||U3}} and {{c||R2}}) suggests that the bowl was inscribed this way. Probably an owner's inscription. | |||

Franz and Kasseroler 1957: 80 read the inscription dextroversely, as seen when the bowl was stood on the shelf upside-down. Epigraphically, a sinistroverse reading with the bowl standing upright is preferable: While is written upside-down, is upright, and appears in its inverted form typical for Venetic and the Raetic North – also the arrangement of the individual scratches (in and particularly , and ) suggests that the bowl was inscribed this way.
