Franz and {{bib|Kasseroler 1957}}: 80 read the inscription dextroversely, as seen when the bowl was stood on the shelf upside-down. Epigraphically, a sinistroverse reading with the bowl standing upright is preferable: While {{c||Χ2}} is written upside-down, {{c||A11}} is upright, and {{c||U3}} appears in its inverted form typical for Venetic and the Raetic North – also the arrangement of the individual scratches (in {{c||S}} and particularly {{c||S | Length 4.7 cm. {{bib|Franz 1958c}}: 68 and {{bib|Kasseroler 1957}}: 80 read the inscription dextroversely, as seen when the bowl was stood on the shelf upside-down, assuming that the lowest decorative line was used as a reference line.
