Commentary
First published in Mancini 1995: 146 (b). Autopsied by TIR on 13th October 2015.
Image in Mancini 1995: 146 (drawing = Schumacher 2004: Taf. 11, 1 = LIR = MLR).
Length 1.5 cm, inscribed on the concave side of the bone. Four faint lines . A -shape might have been intended. Cp. diverse dubious marks on bones from the Ganglegg. The three additional short scratches seen by Mancini, inducing him to read a.v or ae, are merely impressions and unintentional.
