Embossed on the rim like BZ-8.1, but with a different tool. The chevron between the two straight strokes is shorter than the other one; the sequence has been read uś, uni (Wieser) and niu (Whatmough). Probably non-script – maybe a manufacturer's mark (compare BZ-7)?.
