The inscribed punctuation marks are exclusively syllabic puncts (as opposed to word separators). {{c||Rpunct}} with a dot is used in the inscriptions of [[index::Serso]], while {{c||Rpunct2}} with a short line is preferred in [[index::Magrè]] (cp.
