Commentary

First published in Marinetti 2011: 202 (no. 4). Autopsied by TIR on 14th October 2015.

Image in Marinetti 2011: 202 (4) (drawing).

Inscribed upside-down on the inside of the wall of the beaker, length about 4 cm. The characters are well legible; Ś d, with oblique hastae, is damaged by a break. The sequence is most probably a local workman's mark. Cp. AS-19.2, AS-20, AS-21 and AS-22, and the other instance on the present object.
