Commentary

Antler point, curved, traces of fire on one end. At the wider side also traces of perforation and broken.
Along an inscription in two lines from rigth to left. Also characters on the back side.
Dal Rì dates the whole antler group from Montesei di Serso to the 3rd century BC, whereas Schumacher suggets an older date to the 5th–4th centuries BC (Schumacher 2004: 247) and Pellegrini as well as Sebesta date the house No. 2 of Montesei di Serso, where the antlers were found, generally to the late Iron Age due to the typical house construction (Pellegrini & Sebesta 1965: 7).
According to Nothdurfter 1985: 138, Gleirscher 1986: 182, and Marzatico 1996: 55 and 64, the section of antler presents a cover of a key grip like Nothdurfter suggests it as well for the antler votives of Magrè (Nothdurfter 1985: 138).
