Numerous casts have been made of the Steinberg inscriptions; positives of the most recent one, made by the Institut für Ur- und Frühgeschichte Innsbruck in 1993, can be seen at the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum and the Archäologische Staatssammlung München. Fragment of a sinistroverse inscription, running vertically upwards between the typical frame lines some 25 cm to the right of the beginning of ST-6, proposed by Otto Kurz, who read ḳịṣẹ; on the cast made by Kurz, Vetter saw kuse with u. Schumacher 1998: 174, agreeing with Prosdocimi 1971: 38, 46 and Joppich 1971: 43, calls the doubtful remains "unusable".
