Commentary
Near the wheel head, about 2.9 cm long. Possibly damaged at the top due to corrosion. If interpreted as script, the presence of implies a sinistroverse reading. Schumacher 2004 and Mancini also consider a reading aeei or avei, but no additional twigs can be made out. Mancinis argument concerning the relative distance between the twigs of the second and third sign is hardly decisive for signs this small. Non-script or pseudo-script cannot be excluded.
