Inscribed on the front of the bronze. The characters are well discernible. on the perforated end is followed by an asterisk between two short strokes on each side; then some criss-crossing lines (see drawing). Most probably non-script, maybe pseudo-script – see here for possible interpretations of inscriptions with doubtful status.
