Commentary

Length 3.2 cm. Inscribed on the rounded surface of a bone, with the lines being made up of numerous small scratches, but well legible. is considerably taller than the other letters, reaching all the way from one edge to the other. Non-script; cp. the identical VN-6 as well as VN-4 and VN-19. See here for a discussion of possible interpretations of inscriptions with doubtful status.
