Commentary

First published in Mancini 1995: 146 (a). Autopsied by TIR on 13th October 2015.

Image in Mancini 1995: 146 (drawing = Schumacher 2004: Taf. 11, 1 = LIR = MLR).

Length 2.3 cm. The scratches are fine, but the characters are well legible. The bar of Alpha is the only line which has been drawn messily. The rounded lines are probably due to the curvature of the surface. Mancini suggests a connection to final -au in Camunic and Camunoid inscriptions. Maybe a Raetic individual name?
