Commentary

First published in Franz 1957: 106–109. Autopsied by TIR in November 2013.

Pictures in Franz 1957: Abb. 1 (photo = Pallua 1970: 41, Abb. 6), LIR (drawing), MLR (photo).

Length 1.9 cm. Both the scratch closest to the tip of the horn and the triangle which might be read R d are connected to the two oblique strokes of Θ s in three of four places. Probably non-script or pseudo-script. Counted among the "Reitia-Inschriften" by Franz.

On the reverse side right before the breaking edge more scratches, probably of a zig-zag ornament (see drawing).

Further references: Pallua 1970: 41 f.
