The two vertical scratches on both sides of St. Andrew's cross are very close to the latter, suggesting the shape of "butterfly" san {{c||addŚ2}}, which is characteristic of [http://www.univie.ac.at/lexlep/wiki/%C5%9A the Lepontic alphabet]. Cf. the somewhat similar arrangement of lines [[index::SR-11]] on another round, but much larger stone.
