Inscribed on the narrow bottom of the beaker, the tops of the characters pointing towards the foot. The characters take up the entire breadth of the bottom; length about 3.3 cm. The right hasta of is slighty curved. The lower bar of is almost invisible. The status of as a Raetic letter is dubious; in any case, the sequence is most probably a local workman's mark. Cp. , , and , and the other instances on the present object.
