Fragment of a ceramic beaker. "Bicchiere carenato a corpo allungato e piede ad anello" (cp. Leonardi & Ruta Serafini 1981: 20).
Foot and a part of the body. The upper part is missing. Different ceramic fragments recomposed and restored.
At three positions, twice on the vessel bottom and once on the foot, characters which can be considered workman's marks (cp. AS-20.1, AS-20.2, AS-20.3).
Find year: 2004.
Place of finding: Bostel, settlement, structure C2, US 5020 (cp. De Guio 2011: 178). Number of finding: 12/12 s.f. Inventory number: 42691.
The present ceramic fragment is listed with "MLR 104" in the recently released study about the Raetic inscriptions by Marchesini, an autopsy was effected (cp. MLR: 132 [MLR 104]). However in the MLR the ceramic fragment is erroneously assigned to "Marinetti 2011, nr. 4, p. 203 [sic!], fig. 4" (Note: Marinetti 2011 in the MLR = Marinetti 2011b in the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum). Marinetti refers obviously to another object mentioning that "l'iscrizione è graffita nella parete interna" (cp. Marinetti 2011b: 202 [No. 4]) because the present ceramic fragment bears characters only outside. The reference "Marinetti 2011, nr. 4" must be connected with another piece from Bostel (cp. AS-23 beaker).
Autopsied by the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum in October 2014.
