Inscribed on the narrow bottom of the beaker, the tops of the characters pointing towards the foot. The characters take up the entire breadth of the bottom; length about 3.3 cm. The right hasta of {{c||Ś|d}} is slighty curved. The lower bar of {{c||V|d}} is almost invisible. The sequence is most probably a local workman's mark. Cp. [[index::AS-19.2]], [[index::AS-21]], [[index::AS-22]] and [[index::AS-23]], and the other instances on the present object. | |||
