Commentary

First published in Mancini 1995: 148. Autopsied by TIR on 13th October 2015.

Image in Mancini 1995: 148 (drawing = Schumacher 2004: Taf. 11, 2 = LIR = MLR).

Length 2.1 cm, inscribed on the convex side of the bone. The scratches are fine, but the characters are unambiguous. The position of the punctuation mark allows for an interpretation as a syllabic punct, but cp. TR-2. The sequence is obscure. A short vertical scratch is situated at 1.8 cm left of the inscription in the lower area of the surface.
