Commentary
First published in Wieser 1891: 315.
Picture in Wieser 1891: 315 (drawing).
Embossed with a broad chisel on the rim of the situla, which bears the same character twice. In both cases, the rim is broken on the left side of the character (seen from without); the short strokes seen in the upper area right next to the breaking edge may indicate that the mark was more complex. Compare BZ-8. Probably a manufacturer's mark.
