Commentary
Corresponding to the formally identical Etruscan verbal noun or participle suffix (Rix 1985: 137, Wallace 2008: 72 f.). While in Etruscan, derivations in -u are also known from verbal bases (e.g. cesu 'buried'), both known Raetic forms are derived from preterites in -ke. We choose to translate the forms as participles (e.g. 'given'), though a translation as verbal nouns (e.g. 'gift') would be equally possible.
