Length of the remains about 3 cm.  The inscription is included into the Raetic corpus for the only clearly legible letter , which appears in the same shape as in . When it comes to the other lines, the reading is impeded not only by cracks and surface damage, but also by a sloppily applied white inlay. The leftmost character, whose hasta is clearly longer than the inlay suggests, may well be ; in this case, the single vertical stroke before it must be . To the right of , two strokes cut short in the bottom can be seen. See for information on the marks on those fragments of helmets from which have not been included.

Commentary

Not previously published. Autopsied by TIR in November 2014.

Length of the remains about 3 cm. The inscription is included into the Raetic corpus for the only clearly legible letter A s, which appears in the same shape as in BZ-27. When it comes to the other lines, the reading is impeded not only by cracks and surface damage, but also by a sloppily applied white inlay. The leftmost character, whose hasta is clearly longer than the inlay suggests, may well be N s; in this case, the single vertical stroke before it must be I s. To the right of A s, two strokes cut short in the bottom can be seen. See Non-script notational systems for information on the marks on those fragments of helmets from the find which have not been included.
