Commentary

First published in IR.
Pictures in Nothdurfter 1979: 100 (drawing), LIR (photo and drawing) = IR (drawing).
Compare SZ-44.1 / SZ-44.2 and SZ-45.1 / SZ-45.2, also on scythe rings, with uθiiθi on one and la on the other side. SZ-46.1 is damaged by corrosion, but the last Θ s and I s are fairly well distinguishable, though the white inlay is misleading. The inscription features additional little crosses similar to SZ-44.1. Compare also probable (dextroverse) uθiiθi SZ-50 and SZ-51.
