Inscribed on the narrow bottom of the beaker, the tops of the characters pointing towards the foot. The characters take up the entire breadth of the bottom; length about 3.3 cm. The right hasta of is slighty curved. The lower bar of is almost invisible. The sequence is most probably a local workman's mark. Cp. AS-19.2, AS-21, AS-22 and AS-23, and the other instances on the present object.
