Hardly readable due to weathering. Autopsy was impeded by the fact that the slab is currently on exhibition, fixedly attatched to the ground with its back to a wall. The shapes reproduced in older drawings could to some extent be ascertained, but the scratches are unequal – some deep and broad, some more fine and shallow and white in colour. Mancini did not include all the traces in his drawing. Though one may assume that the stone was in better condition when examined by the scholars of the 19th century, from a modern point of view it is doubtful whether we are concerned with the remains of an inscription, or merely damages.
