Formally, the word can be a genitive II in {{m||-s(i)|-s}}, well attested in Raetic. Its occurring together with a rare ablative ({{w||kleimunθeis}}) makes an interpretation as an ablative in {{m||-s}} equally feasible. In either case, the base is most likely to be an individual name ''θauki''. The connection with the two occurrences of the unclear sequence {{w||θauχ-}} is dubious.

Commentary

Formally, the word can be a genitive II in -s, well attested in Raetic. Its occurring together with a rare ablative (kleimunθeis) makes an interpretation as an ablative in -s equally feasible. In either case, the base is most likely to be an individual name θauki. The connection with the two occurrences of the unclear sequence θauχ- is dubious.
