Commentary

First published in Marinetti 1992: 696 (no. 4). Autopsied by TIR on 16th November 2015.

Length about 3 cm. The first character is probably M d, though the last bar is decidedly curving inwards. The next character is read V d by Marinetti; only the angle line v 01 sline d 02 s is well visible, the traces above it are very faint. In the area to the left, the surface is even more heavily damaged; Marinetti reads A dK d, which is possible, but doubtful.
