Length about 3 cm. The first character is either {{c||M|d}} with the last bar curving inwards, or {{c||N|d}} (if the scratch is question is irrelevant). The next character is read {{c||V|d}} by Marinetti; only the angle {{c||line v 01}}{{c||line d 02}} is well visible, the traces above it are very faint – either {{c||V|d}} or {{c||E|d}} (though the latter would be too tall). Marinetti further reads {{c||A3}}{{c||K|d}} (damaged by the breaking edge), which could not be confirmed by autopsy (see drawing). Length about 3 cm. The first character is either with the last bar curving inwards, or (if the scratch is question is irrelevant). The next character is read by Marinetti; only the angle is well visible, the traces above it are very faint – either or (though the latter would be too tall). Marinetti further reads (damaged by the breaking edge), which could not be confirmed by autopsy (see drawing). See here for a discussion of possible interpretations of inscriptions with doubtful status.
