Length 3 cm, starting from the broad end of the piece of antler. The letters are tidy and well legible. The interpretation of the St. Andrew's cross as being a seperate entity from the others characters is based on the identification of {{w||φausu}} with the name {{w||Bauso}} (see word page). {{bib|Mayr 1957|Mayr}} read {{c||Θ}} as an abbreviation for the verbal form {{w||þinake}}, {{bib|Schumacher 1998}}: 94 prefers to interpret it as a delimiter (cp. [[index::CE-1.5]]).
