Above representation chooses the sinistroverse reading with straight {{c||N}}; compare [[index::BZ-2]] for another inscription which might be read dextroverse with upside-down {{c||N2|d}} (and straight {{c||E|d}}). The {{c||Θ}} in {{p||θ}}]{{w||anu}} read by {{bib|LIR|Mancini}} is not verifiable: The stroke in question (see his drawing) is not as deep as the others and may not be intentional.

Commentary

First published in Torggler-Wöß 1953b: 442 f. Autopsied by TIR in November 2013.

Pictures in Torggler-Wöß 1953b: 442, fig. 2 (drawing), Franz 1959: Taf. 3,5 (drawing), Lunz 1974: Taf. 73,1 (drawing) and IR (photo tav. LVI, fig. b; and drawing = LIR).

Torggler-Wöß mentions remains of an inscription and only two characters. The orientation of the inscription is ambiguous – either Alpha or Nu is written upside-down. Above representation chooses the sinistroverse reading with straight N s; compare BZ-2 for another inscription which might be read dextroverse with upside-down N2 d (and straight E d). The Θ s in θ]anu read by Mancini is not verifiable: The stroke in question (see his drawing) is not as deep as the others and may not be intentional.
