Commentary

Bowl with omphalos.
Outside on the bottom characters, probably with non-script character like Mancini supposes it (cp. IR: 296).
The excavation in Montesei di Serso started in 1962 and was continued until 1964. In 1963 was discovered a house structure which can be dated to the second half of the Iron Age, i.e. to the 5th-1st centuries BC. The date is based on the different ceramic fragments from Sanzeno bowls which were found in this area.
