Image in {{bib|Mancini 1995}}: 147 (drawing = {{bib|Schumacher 2004}}: Taf. 11, 2 = {{bib|LIR}} = {{bib|MLR}}).
Length 2.1 cm, inscribed on the convex side of the bone. The scratches are very fine, but the characters are unambiguous. The bar of Upsilon is rounded, probably because of the curvature of the surface (cp. [[index::TR-1.1]]). The four lines after the punctuation mark are {{c||E}} rather than {{c||I}}{{c||A9}} as read by Mancini. The punctuation mark looks intentional, but can neither be evidence of syllabic punctuation, nor does it make sense as a separator. Cp. [[index::TR-4]]. The sequence is obscure.

Commentary

First published in Mancini 1995: 147. Autopsied by TIR on 13th October 2015.

Image in Mancini 1995: 147 (drawing = Schumacher 2004: Taf. 11, 2 = LIR = MLR).

Length 2.1 cm, inscribed on the convex side of the bone. The scratches are very fine, but the characters are unambiguous. The bar of Upsilon is rounded, probably because of the curvature of the surface (cp. TR-1.1). The four lines after the punctuation mark are E s rather than I sA9 s as read by Mancini. The punctuation mark looks intentional, but can neither be evidence of syllabic punctuation, nor does it make sense as a separator. Cp. TR-4. The sequence is obscure.
