Word
Language: Raetic
Word type: proper noun

Number: singular

Meaning: '(of/for?) Tianu*'

Paradigm: tianus (singular), tianusa (genitive, singular) (2)
Attestation: NO-15 (esumnesinuþnualeutikutianus) (1)

Commentary

In isolation the most obvious segmentation is tianu-s (benefactive genitive, see context in NO-15), but cp. tianusa, apparently with a base tianus plus a-genitive. In Raetic context, the vocalic auslaut of names makes tianu more likely than tianus, though it may be objectionable to extend this rule from anthroponyms to (presumed) theonyms. Maybe a case of recutting?
