Whatmough discerned "letters not easy to read" in three different places: χiukui[, three short vertical strokes "on the other side", and "below, where the rust has peeled off" ]un[. None of these 'inscriptions' can be detected on the heavily corroded object with any certainty. Traces appear to be visible on old photos stored with the museum's record card.
