Commentary

Very faint traces on the neck-guard. is comparatively well legible. It is followed by the upper parts of probably two letters (see drawing), then what can only be the four tips of . Mancini suggests, not implausibly, (or ?) eseθ. The inscription may have been longer, but no further traces can be detected. The letters on the other side of the neck-guard are a discrete inscription.
