Commentary

Lead ingot.
The ingot was found together with the antler points, also in the same stratum. There were found two pieces, to control: the two pieces belong together? Mancini indicates that possibility as arguable (see LIR: 260) but also the second piece bear a character (To control!!!); both pieces weigh together 2,650kg (cp. Pellegrini 1918: 174). Mancini gives photos and drawings of both pieces.
Current location probably the Museo Nazionale Atestino.
