Word
Language: Raetic
Word type: proper noun

Number: singular

Meaning: '(of/for?) Tianu*'

Paradigm: tianus (singular), tianusa (genitive, singular) (2)
Attestation: NO-15 (esumnesinuþnualeutikutianus) (1)

Commentary

In isolation the most obvious segmentation is tianu-s (benefactive genitive, see context in NO-15), but cp. tianusa, apparently with a base tianus plus genitive. In Raetic context, the vocalic auslaut of names makes tianu more likely than tianus, though it may be objectionable to extend this rule from anthroponyms to (presumed) theonyms. Maybe a case of recutting?
