Commentary
Socketed bronze key handle.
Due to the curved shape the socketed handle must be identify as key handle (cp. Nothdurfter 2002: 1128).
Continuous socket; round cross section; end of the handle funnel-shaped widened. At the other end two rectangular rivet holes, the round rivets are still visible. Patina from dark green to blackish in colour with white and brown patches.
Along characters and a large asterisk.
The find circumstances are unknown but the object can be compared with other discoveries from Sanzeno.
Autopsied by the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum in November 2013.
