Commentary

First published in Pellegrini & Sebesta 1965: 16 (no. 14). Non vidi.

Image in Perini 1965b: Fig. 8,1 (drawing).

Length of the remains 2.1 cm. Although there might be some of the inscription missing on the left side, what can be seen is symmetrical (judging by Perini's drawing) and is most probably non-script (a symbol, as already suspected by Pellegrini). See here for a discussion of possible interpretations of inscriptions with doubtful status.
