Commentary

Bronze in the shape of a horse pair.
Cp. the present bronze with SZ-11 bronze as well as SZ-12 bronze.
Roberti states the proper name La pariglia siamese n. 1 (cp. Roberti 1950: 182) and in his consequence Pellegrini uses also this term (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 314).
Almost the entire group of bronzes from Sanzeno was discovered between 1947 and 1949. The bronzes were found by chance in a sand pit (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 304; Vetter 1954: 66-67).
Further references more related to the inscription: Mayr 1951: 133 (No. X), fig. X (Mayr labels the bronze as Doppelpferdchen A); Vetter 1954: 71.
