Commentary
Potsherd.
Bottom of a bowl with foot.
From grey to light brown in colour.
On the belly a circumferential decoration of four striae at regular intervals.
Outside an inscription which is to compare with NO-14.
The potsherd was found during the excavation of Franz von Wieser in 1908. During this excavation von Wieser discovered several cremation graves which date from the late Hallstatt period to the beginning of the La Tène period (cp. Franz 1957: 109). The detailed context related to the sherd however is uncertain (cp. Franz 1957: 109).
